Roe Conn, who spent 25 years on the air at WLS-AM 890, has a new radio address. Conn confirmed Tuesday he has signed an agreement to host weekdays from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tribune Media’s WGN-AM 720.
The deal was inked over the weekend and Conn is getting acclimated this week to his new digs at Tribune Tower. His first day on the air is expected to be Jan. 26.
Conn and co-host Richard Roeper were pulled off the air at WLS-AM in October with several months left on their contracts. Cumulus Media, which owns the station, lured Chicago radio bad-boy-turned-podcaster Steve Dahl from his west suburban basement to take over the afternoon shift in November.
