Lee Roy, the bailiff charged, was seen receiving oral sex from a female inmate on the 13th floor of the court on Dec. 23, the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office reports.
Roy was charged with one count of sexual battery and one count of bribery.
Roy, 45, of South Euclid, has been with the court since 2008 except for a period of time during which he was laid off. He was fired Monday from the court and will be arraigned Monday afternoon.
